Session 1 of Unlocking the Power of Data to Drive Student Success

The series kicked off on October 30, 2025, with Building Shared Mindsets Through Data Conversations. During the session, we explored data-driven conversations that build a learning community with common language, purpose, attitudes and beliefs. Participants also practiced protocols that create the conditions for vulnerability and collaboration, and left with clear next steps to analyze data with their school team.

This four-part interactive learning series is designed to help you harness the power of data, elevate student voices, and implement meaningful, student-centered strategies to improve student success in your school. This isn’t just another workshop series—it’s a transformative journey designed to elevate your improvement work, empower your team, and drive better student outcomes.

The series is designed for members of school-based success teams – adults working to implement and continually improve strategies to increase student attendance, attainment, and wellbeing. Participants will be able to:

  • Plan a team data conversation to mine for implications for adult practice
  • Utilize student experience data to strengthen your understanding of the problem before identifying solutions
  • Design solutions and plan action-reflection cycles
  • Reflect on progress and refine actions for the future

Participation in all sessions is encouraged however not required, and you are welcome to attend whichever session(s) are of interest.
