Community of Practice: Reflecting to Refine and Sustain Success

Session 4 of Unlocking the Power of Data to Drive Student Success

During this final session of the 2025-26 series, Reflecting to Refine and Sustain Success, we focused on transforming improvement into ongoing growth. Participants practiced protocols for reviewing impact data, shared successes and setbacks, and decided whether to adopt, adapt, or abandon strategies. We prioritized creating space to pause, learn, and build routines to ensure every student benefits from systems that evolve to meet changing needs.

Session Resources:

The series is designed for members of school-based success teams – adults working to implement and continually improve strategies to increase student attendance, attainment, and wellbeing. Participants will be able to:

  • Plan a team data conversation to mine for implications for adult practice
  • Utilize student experience data to strengthen your understanding of the problem before identifying solutions
  • Design solutions and plan action-reflection cycles
  • Reflect on progress and refine actions for the future
